Mary2022-11-22I have so many good things to say about Al Minbar! I took a 2-week advanced Darija class (Moroccan dialect) in summer 2022. After just a few days I was writing Arabic better than I ever have, I was speaking with more confidence (even about places and subjects I had not previously even known about!), and I waa having so much fun! I visit Moroccan often and I was so grateful to take this course with Wassima who was kind and so informative! Plus she has a great sense of humor! At the end they held a wonderful ceremony for us with tea and sweets and couscous and they invited me to share a poem I had written. My first poetry in Arabic! It was magical. I would recommend this group of lively, talented teachers and staff to anyone traveling to Morocco! đ

I took classes in MSA and darija, and both teachers were very kind, encouraging and professional. It is clear that the institute has high ambitions, and it shows in how the teachers and staff conduct themselves, and in how they create a safe and encouraging atmosphere for learning.
